 Nelson Mandela dies at 95

I am blessed to have lived during the life and times of Nelson Mandela. Both Nelson and former wife, Winnie Mandela commitment to the fight for freedom and equality for the people, all people truly made a positive impact on my life.

I was fortunate enough to have traveled to Johannesburg, South Africa and worked on a documentary project that explores post apartheid. I had many debates with the people of Soweto and other parts of Johannesburg and for that, we all were enlightened. I realized the importance of education and the power of media and its influences on ones thinking.  [read more]
